Pediatric Kidney Transplant in Malaysia |

Paediatric kidney transplant has excellent long-term outcomes. Children have better growth and development post-kidney transplant. However, it remains challenging for infants and small children. We aim to improve the patient's nutritional status before the transplant. The common primary renal diseases were glomerulonephritis and congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract. We need to correct the urological abnormalities before the transplant.
Paediatric patients are prone to infection. Ensure up-to-date immunization pre transplant. |
